On : 184.108.40.206.4 version, Configurator UI
After upgrading from 12.0.6 to 12.2.4, when launching the Configurator from iStore in Internet Explorer (IE) version 11, users are seeing that when there is no value in a UI dropdown, the options below CANNOT be selected. If the dropdown is populated by the user, then the options CAN be selected. However when using Mozilla, the users are seeing that when there is no value in the dropdown, they are able to select any option and then the dropdown is automatically populated. This is happening only in IE11, R12.2.4 and in iStore. The issue is not reproduced from the Test Model button in OCD. It only happens in iStore and it happens for all models. This worked as expected in 12.0.6.
Customer is running versions:
Java 8 Update 71 (build 1.8_71-b15)
IE Version: 11.0.960018059
Update Versions: 11.0.24
Customer has applied the Configurator Patches below:
Patch 18423655: 12.2 33-4 CUMULATIVE PATCH
Patch 18502412: CONSOLIDATED 12.2.4 CZ PATCH
Expect to be able to select the accessory items in IE11 the same as in Mozilla and Chrome.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. iStore Responsibility,
2. Choose Configure button,
3. Oracle Configurator UI launches,
4. Select the configuration in the left hand column,
5. Options cannot be selected.
