BI Publisher Data Model Elements are Removed When No Changes are Made Editing an SQL Data Set via the 'Edit Data Set' Option

BI Publisher, Enterprise Datamodel issues

The 'Edit Data Set' option corrupts the data model when no changes are made.

The data model should not get corrupted even if the data set is not modified.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Create SQL data set / data model.
2. Populate all the elements and save as sample data.
3. Click the dropdown list on data set and select 'Edit Data Set' option.
4. Without modifying anything, click OK button.

Observe after the above steps the data model screen shows nothing in the elements of the data set.
When the data is retrieved from data tab, the empty group is returned.
