Last updated on FEBRUARY 27, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle HRMS (US) - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On : 12.1.3 version, US Payroll - General

When an employee has Work PSD tax and then a reversal is done, the Payroll Archiver is not processing the exact same results as a negative. The Resident/NonResident flag is also changing from the correct NR to an incorrect R

The reversal archiver to look exactly the same as the Quick Pay Archiver but with negative dollars in current. The YTD numbers should just be reduced by the amount of the reversal and the Resident/NonResident Flag should stay the same

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Ran the Void
2. Did an External/Manual Payment
3. Reversal Period End X/X/XXXX Check Date X/XX/XXXX Date Tracked to X/XX/XXXX when they did the reversal
4. Ran Prepayments
5. Ran the Archiver
6. Quick Pay to reissue the check
7. Ran Quick Pay Prepayment
8. Ran the Payroll Archiver for the Quick pay only DD-MON-YEAR DD-MON-YEAR
9. US PSD 0.00 WK shows as NR
10. Quick Pay has 9.65 city tax withheld This is correct
11. This Archiver showing NR is correct
12. Looked at the Reversal Archiver
No current data in the archiver - WK Tax
-9.65 City WK PSD Withheld
13. Resident / Nonresident Flag now = R Should be NR
14. Resident appears to be working correctly It is only happening when it is a work tax
15. Resident - Upper Darby Township Delaware county
Work - West Whiteland Twp Chester county
