Last updated on APRIL 21, 2016
Applies to:User Productivity Kit - Version 12.1.2 to 12.1.2 [Release 12.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Installed a new installation of UPK 18.104.22.168.
Select "currently logged in user" with Windows Authentication. The installation completed successfully.
The UPK client connects with account server0002\Admin and can create additional Authors under Administration - Manage Authors with Domain server0002. These new users can connect through the UPK Client.
If we create an Author in a different domain, for example Domain (server001\username), it appears that the Author is created correctly under Administration - Manage Authors. The Username (server001\username) appears in the Author table in the database. However, when the Author in (server001\username) tries to connect to the Library, invalid username password.
Does UPK support Windows Authentication when Authors are in different domains?
