Order Organizer - Personalization Not Working When Using New Button From Menu Bar

Symptoms

Customer has a personalization that defaults the Salesperson field to the username of the current user in Order Organizer form.
When the form is opened for the first time the Salesperson field is defaulted to current user.
If customer press on "New" button from menu bar, the field is cleared.
Customer requires this field to be always populated.
