Symptoms

On : 12.0.6 version, Accounting Issues in AP

When attempting to create accounting for one payment
the following error occurs.

ERROR
-----------------------
there is a XLA error Subledger Accounting was unable to derive an accounting code combination using the account derivation rule Discount Account owned by Oracle. Please review the account derivation rule and make sure it derives a valid accounting flexfield combination for the source values passed for the transaction.



STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Payables Responsibility, Requests->Submit:Create Accounting
2. Create Accounting error

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot create accounting for payment.
