Unable to Use a Serial Number that was Previously Used and Corrected (Doc ID 2147169.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Lease Authoring

When attempting to use a serial number that was accidentally used in another contract, and since corrected,
the following error occurs.

ERROR
-----------------------
Serial Number OKL2166737 is a duplicate of another serial number already entered. Duplicate serial numbers are not allowed.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Book a contract with a serialized asset.
2. Rebook the contract and update the serial number of the asset.
3. Copy the contract to a new contract and update the serial number
  to use the same as the original serial number in step 1.

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot use the correct serial number.
