GLLEZL: Journal Import
WebADI: Web Applications Desktop Integrator
When attempting to upload journals with a balancing segment value (BSV) that is not assigned to the current legal entity and/or ledger, the General Ledger (GL) WebADI template errors with the following:
The balancing segment value is not valid for the current ledger.
This error is expected and standard functionality.
However, when dynamic insert is enabled in GL, the WebADI upload process will still create the invalid code combination for the first line
in the WebADI template despite it correctly displaying an error and not uploading the actual journal.
The issue may be reproduced with the following steps:
1. Desktop Integration > Create Document
2. Select General Ledger - Journals integrator, the desired layout, and Excel version.
3. Create template and enter journal information.
4. Select Upload, error appears in template journal line, and an invalid code combination is created in GL.
Due to this issue, additional invalid code combinations are created.
