Last updated on MARCH 02, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Purchasing - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Purchasing Processes

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When Blanket purchase agreement is created via custom program and Import Price Catalog
and inventory item has a list price, then see BPA line is created with market price as the same value as list price.
They pass market price as Null in interface tables.
They do not use or want market price populated.

In Purchase Order Form Market Price is getting populated without providing data.
If enter the BPA manually at form, the Market Price defaults to null and remains null as expected.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Expect "Market Price" to be null for both manually created BPA and those create via a custom process.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1 Custom process to populate po interface tables
2.Run Import Price Catalog
3. Query BPA via purchase order summary form
4.Navigate Purchase Orders-->Purchase Orders-->Lines Price reference.
See "Market Price" has a value.
