MR Effectivity Based On Fleets Includes Uninstalled Parts Not Associated To The Fleet In The UMP (Doc ID 2148739.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 24, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Complex Maintenance, Repair, & Overhaul - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When using the Fleet field of the effectivity row to narrow down an item effectvity, the View Affected Items link returns the expected results, but the Unit Maintenance Plan yields results that include items that are uninstalled in any asset, and have no relationship to the fleet. The UMP does not calculate a UOM remaining, but they are being planned and therefore, effective when they should not be, based on the MR effectivity.

It is not expected that more items are included in the UMP than shown as effective on the MR. MR effectivity based on Fleets should NOT include parts not associated to the fleet in the UMP

1. CMRO > Engineering > Fleet Maintenance Program > Overview
2. Select a visit > Effectivities
3. View affected items > UMP results
