Goal
E-Business Suite 12.2 BI Publisher 12c, Enterprise Data Model issues
To workaround issues where special characters are not allowed on some of the reports by BIP.
Here are some special characters that is failing:
asterisk "*", space " ", comma "," , left "(" and right ")" parenthesis, and ampersand "&"...
Some of the latest guidelines for BI:
1. Do not use the following invalid characters (~, !, #, $, %, ^, &, *, +, ', |, :, \", \\, <, >, ?, ,, /,.) for Data Set Name.
2. Data set names should not include special characters.These are used for nodes, keep them simple.
