This issue could likely occur for calendar periods, depreciation methods, prorate conventions, etc where there exists one record with underscores and another record that has the same start to a name. The two differ only where the underscore has a space or any other value in place of the underscore.
When assigning fiscal year name of a name that is identical to a previous fiscal year except there is underscores instead of spaces, the fiscal year with the spaces will have only the desired records, but the fiscal year with the underscores will show all records for both of the fiscal years.
It is desired that the fiscal year will only show records defined specifically for a certain name.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Define a fiscal year as XX FA FISCAL YEAR and save.
2. Define a fiscal year as XX_FA_FISCAL_YEAR and save.
3. Query the fiscal year XX FA FISCAL YEAR, only the records defined for the fiscal year are showing.
4. Query the fiscal year XX_FA_FISCAL_YEAR, records defined for both XX FA FISCAL YEAR and XX_FA_FISCAL_YEAR are showing.
