When Po Returns, Pending Move Trx for OSP Job by Negative balances not allowed (Doc ID 2150375.1)

Problem Statement
After OSP item is received, and then return it to supplier. This return move transaction is stucked. This OSP item is LOT controlled. And Lot expiration (Shelf Life) control setting of this item is "User-defined". And this job has OSP as last operation. And the target inventory ORG is NOT "Allow Negative Balances". The transaction type of this move transaction is "RETURN", although this job is not completed yet.

Pending Move Transaction Errors form(WIPTISFM):

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create WIP job which assembly item is LOT controlled and OSP is last operation.
    Responsibility : Manufacturing and Distribution Manager
    Navigation: WIP -> Discrete -> Discrete Jobs
  2. Release WIP job and Requisition will be generated automatically by system.
    *Depend on the setting of WIP parameter.
  3. Create PO and approve it.
    Navigation: Purchasing -> AutoCreate
    After AutoCreate finishes, Purchase Order Form is opened automatically, and then approve it.
  4. Do Move Transaction from 1st operation queue to OSP operation queue.
    Navigation: WIP -> Move Transactions -> Move Transactions
  5. Do PO receive.
    Navigation: Purchasing -> Receiving -> Receipt
  6. Do PO return to Supplier.
    Navigation: Purchasing -> Receiving -> Return
  7. WIP Move Transaction Worker finished with error.
    If WIP Move Transaction Manager is not launched, you can launch it.
    Navigation: Inventory > Setup > Transactions > Interface Managers > Move transaction(Record) > Launch Manager(T)
