Symptoms

Mass Edit Actual Material Costs fails with log file messages
Unable to obtain a lock on table CST_ITEM_COSTS
ORA-01555: snapshot too old: rollback segment number nnn with name "xxxxx" too small

Mass Edit Actual Material Costs is experiencing consistent performance degradation.
Other programs such as the CMCCOC (copy item cost), CMCICU (standard cost update) and CMRICU (simulate standard cost update) are running slowly
