Error During Patching Process on Recently Cloned Environment with R12.TXK.C.delta.6 : ORA-01017: invalid username/password (Doc ID 2150659.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.2.4 version, Patch Application Issues

When applying TXK.C.delta.7  patch, adop phase=apply patches=20784380,21846184 merge=yes, fails with the following error.

 Additional details:

sqlplus connection with the ALR  username/password -- works successfully

Changes

There were no schema password changes done before or during the patch application.
