Last updated on FEBRUARY 03, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Order Management - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Item has the primary unit is a meter and the conversion interclass between each and feet and when we are creating the lines are getting the following error:

The quantity cannot be a decimal number in the primary unit of measure of the item.
The item is under serial number control.

The conversion is between METER and EACH... however we cannot do the conversation METER and EACH.. because the standard UOM defined on INV is FEET.

Same error occurs when conversion is between EACH to FEET, either:

1 EACH = .304799902464 FEET
  or
1 EACH = 1 FEET
