Item has the primary unit of measure as a METER and the uom interclass conversion is between EACH and FEET. When order lines are entered the following error is occurring:

ERROR

The quantity cannot be a decimal number in the primary unit of measure of the item.
The item is under serial number control.

The UOM conversion is between METER and EACH.   however the uom conversion of METER and EACH is not possible due to the standard UOM defined in INV is FEET.
Same error occurs when the uom conversion is between EACH and FEET, either:

1 EACH = .304799902464 FEET
  or
1 EACH = 1 FOOT
