Symptoms
When attempting to assign accounts for a Financial Statement Generator (FSG) report row, the following errors occurs on the form.
Compiling the Flexfield or performing certain changes in Accounting Setup Manager may throw errors through forms/html pages or concurrent programs triggered. The GLCOAM: Program - Generate Ledger Flexfield also generates error in the log file as described below.
Another symptom of this issue may be that the Accounting Flexfields is showing segments data, while the GL Ledger Flexfield is not showing any segments. This is something you may want to test (Setup > Financials > Flexfields > Key > Segments > Query for your structure and the GL Ledger Flexfield.
IMPORTANT: acknowledge the issue in the form but do not perform any manual changes to this flexfield as such action will not be supported along with all its consequences.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Login to GL responsibility.
2. Navigate Reports->Define->RowSet
3. Enter a name for 'Row Set' and click on 'Define Rows'
4. Enter the required information to create a new row, and click on the 'Account Assignments' button

The issue occurs on fresh install of 12.2.5, however it is not limited to being produced in this context only.
