Last updated on JUNE 22, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Bills of Material - Version 12.1.3 to 12.1.3 [Release 12.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Actual Behavior
When disable a existing operation and add a new operation using same Operation Sequence, Effectivity Date of new operation is set to a default value using the disable date of existing operation as below.

Effectivity Date of New Op. = Disable date of Existing Op. + 1 min

A one-minute time gap will be created automatically between two operations, user has to modify every operation's date.
It is quite a big and confusing work.

Expected Behavior
Effectivity Date of New Op. should be Disable date of Existing Op. + 1 sec, not 1 min.

Effectivity Date of New Op. = Disable date of Existing Op. + 1 sec

Since plus one second can making two operations continuous, it is more reasonable and friendly to user.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Launch Routings form
    (N)BOM > Routings > Routings
  2. Search Item : XXXX_Item ==>New Effectivity Date should be Disable date + 1 sec, not 1 min.
