INCOIN - Item Open Interface Inactivates An Item Even Though Onhand Quantity Exists

(Doc ID 2157826.1)

Last updated on JULY 18, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Item Master - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Inactivating an item with onhand qty is blocked when using the Item Define form but the same is allowed when inactivating the item via the Item Open Interface (INCOIN).
The expectation is both form and INCOIN should prevent item inactivation when onhand quantity exists.

  1. Insert data to delete an item having onhand quantity.
  2. Run INCOIN.
  3. The item is inactivated.
