On : 12.1.3 version, Batches

Text entered on a routing step is not being copied to batch steps even though the parameter Copy Routing Text is checked on the Create Batch tab of Process Execution Parameters.

The same paragraph code is set up on fm_rout_dtl and gme_batch_steps (and even gmd_recipe_routing_steps)

It appears that <patch 19180374> may be the cause. That patch changed the behavior so that when a recipe is created, text from the routing steps in fm_rout_dtl is copied to gmd_recipe_routing_steps. Additionally, it seems that batch creation is now looking ONLY in gmd_recipe_routing_steps for text to copy.

Because of this, text will not be copied for any recipes that were created before the code change from that patch (assuming that no step overrides were done in the recipe to create a row in gmd_recipe_routing_steps), as those recipes will not have data in gmd_recipe_routing_steps. In addition, if text is added to a routing step after the recipe is created, that text will also fail to be copied to the batch.

If there is no row in gmd_recipe_routing_steps, the code should look in fm_rout_dtl for text to copy to the batch when the batch is created. The code should not be looking ONLY in gmd_recipe_routing_steps.

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot see the text on the batch.
