1095-C files were generated for two separate GRE's that are in the same business group. One of the GRE's will act as Transmitter for the other GRE, and thus only one GRE has a TCC code, with the role of Transmitter.
When we ran the 'Benefits ACA Transmission XML Generation Process' we could only select the GRE with the TCC code, as described in the ReadMe. The process only generated XML files for the single GRE. Files were not generated for the GRE that does not have a TCC code.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. The ACA Archive process was run for two separate GRE’s.
2. Patch 23202224 was applied to the TEST environment (all prior mandatory ACA patches have been applied).
3. The following new configuration was done following the instructions in patch 23202224 ReadMe:
a. Registered 3 new EITs
i. ACA Certification of Eligibility
ii. ACA TCC Information
iii. ACA External 1095C Count
b. Added TCC Information to the GRE_ID (A) only and not added to GRE_ID (B)
i. Navigation: US HR Manager > Work Structures > Organization > Description > lookup GRE > Others > select ACA TCC Information
c. Added External 1095C Counts to GRE_ID (A)
i. Navigation: US HR Manager > Work Structures > Organization > Description > lookup GRE > Others > select ACA External 1095C Count
4. The Benefits ACA Transmission XML Generation Process:
i. Year: 2015
iii. Filing Indicator: T (for AATS)
iv. Validate: Commit
b. Ran to success.
c. View Output showed just these 2 files were generated -- both for GRE_ID (A) and did not generate xml for GRE_ID (B)
5. The process was split into four request id’s.
