On : 12.1.3 version, Period Close for Process Orgs

Created a new organization which has no pending or completed transactions for the period. Did not close any inventory periods for this new inventory organization. Ran GMF Period Close Process for Process Organizations for this new organization. The log error message, show that inventory period already closed, however in Inventory > Accounting Close Cycle > Inventory Accounting Period the inventory period is open.

Cannot close the period MONTH-2016. Period is already final closed for this organization

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:


1.OPM Financials Responsibility
2 Navigate to the View requests
3 Submit the request GMF Period Close Process for Process Organizations
 

Changes

 Created new inventory organization
