UPK: Knowledge Center Player Link Results in Active Scrolling Bar

After installing Knowledge Center and launching the Player link on the web server (2012) with IE11, the Player content does not load but displays an active scrolling bar.
However, if Knowledge Center Player link is accessed from a workstation using IE11, the content displays correctly.

What could be the cause of the scrolling on the Windows 2012 server and Internet Explorer (IE11) browser?
