On : 12.1.3 version, Information Discovery (v6 and higher)

When attempting to use the batch search in Endeca
the following error occur in some sections. Other sections show no errors.


In Search area see message:
An unexpected error occurred. Please contact your system administrator.

In Selected Refinements area see message:
An Endeca Server connection error has occurred.

In the Production Metrics section see error:
There was an error when trying to access the data.
Please confirm with your system administratror that the Endeca Server connection is available.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to EBS application and go to PE SUPERUSER responsibility click on Endeca batch search

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot use batch search page.
