While creating supplier sample in the system, facing a problem which is - after giving all the necessary inputs in the form, when try to save the sample system is giving us a message:
-"Changes to this field may require a new Specification. therefore the chosen Specification has been cleared ".
Even though no changes were made.- After this message comes, click OK- next message comes:
"Sample is not associated with a Specification. Return to Sample to "Get Spec?"
Notice by this time, Operating Unit value is not there anymore and the field is non-editable. Now, if we click "Yes", the Operating Unit field remains non-editable but it lets us select specification again. Then try to save it again then it gives the next error "Either parent lot or lot is required".
Please note that, for supplier -in supplier validity rule of specification- have selected "lot optional on sample". If we choose "No",then it gets saved without specification. This problem is coming for all the supplier sample-for any item.
Expect to be able to create supplier sample without messages and error.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
A. Resp: OPM Quality > Samples > Item Samples
Create a supplier item sample
