12.2 E-Business Suite Users Select Help->Diagnostics->Trace->Regular Trace On Forms, However No Trace File is Generated at the Specified Location (Doc ID 2163585.1)

Symptoms

 E-Business Suite 12.2 Applications Performance, SQL Tuning issues

 When users select Help -> Diagnostics -> Trace -> Regular Trace, no file is created at the specified location after following the below document:

A popup shows that the trace was successfully generated, but when you navigate to the directory where the TRACE is supposed to be, there is no trace file.

If users select any of the other trace options eg. binds, waits, or bind+waits, the trace file is generated successfully at the specified location.

The issue only occurs when selecting a Regular Trace.

Changes
