1) Problem Description:
On the Find Project Form, customer accounts that are inactive are showing in the Customer Name LOV. The accounts had been merged and are now inactive on the new parties they are associated with. Is the LOV on this form suppose to show inactive accounts?
2) PA Development had noted in <Bug 4144509> 11.5.10LR: INACTIVE CUSTOMERS ARE SHOWN IN LOV ON FIND PROJECT SCREEN (back on 11.5.10L).
This facility is useful when the user wants to get the project details of a particular inactive customer. This is same with the key member query criteria also in the same screen, even though the key member effective dates are over the user is allowed to query depending on the key member. This is to allow the user to get the details of all the projects on which the key member is working on or worked.
But the note does not indicate merged accounts/customers.
Is it intended that inactive customers from merged accounts/customers will still show up in the Customer LOV? Any way to exclude inactive accounts that are not assigned to any projects? Can see the usefulness if the customer was still associated with any Projects, but when the account is merged, it is no longer associated with any project.
