Symptoms
In Oracle Service Contracts, you create a standard Bill of Material (BOM) item with a Warranty. A serviceable Item is created in the Installed Base. However, no Warranty is created in Oracle Service Contracts.
Any of the following situations may occur:
A Warranty is defined in the standard Bill of Material but the warranty is not created when the product is shipped.
A Warranty is defined in the Bill of Material but the warranty is not created when a configured PTO model is shipped.
A Warranty is defined in the Bill of Material but the warranty is not created when a configured ATO model is shipped.
