No Timestamp On Last_update_date Of PO Records, When PO Shipment Is 'Finally Closed'. (Doc ID 2171299.1)

Symptoms

Problem Description
---------------------------------------------------
No timestamp is posted on last_update_date of PO line, shipment and Distributions records, when PO shipment is finally closed.


STEPS
-------------------
1. Edit PO that is partially billed.

2.Cancel the rest of the quantities on PO line/shipment:
PO -> Lines -> Shipments -> Tools -> Cancel
Approve and Query PO again
PO distribution last update date showing time stamp

3.Cancel/Discard the invoices.
Payables Manager -> Invoices -> Enter -> query invoices for the PO

Query PO again
PO distribution last update date showing time stamp.

4.Finally Close the PO shipment.
Purchasing Superuser -> Purchase Order Summary -> Query for PO -> go to Shipments -> Tools -> Control
Enter some reason and choose Finally Close.
Requery PO.

The Last update date shows no stamp on PO shipment. Also last update date on PO distribution shows no time stamp


BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
Because of this issue, Data Warehouse programs are not identifying these records as updated records, since they depend on timestamp of the last_update_date and hence the data is not getting refreshed in DataWarehouse tables/reports.
The users not getting the getting the right reporting data.
