R12: PA: PARGDR: Cost to Cost Revenue Formula creates Wrong Revenue when Actual revenue is Greated than Budgeted Revenue. (Doc ID 2173716.1)

Last updated on MARCH 05, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Project Billing - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

The customer is using the Cost to Cost extension for their projects. One of the events created appears to give the incorrect revenue amount. From the formula:

Revenue = Lesser(999999999999.00 ,((4467631.30/4467631.30 * (20111386.14 - -1073758.71)) - 6556190.88 ))

the customer is questioning the amount '-1073758.71'. Per analysis, this amount appears to be the difference between revenue budget and actual revenue. The amount is negative as the accrued revenue exceeds the budgeted
revenue (hard limit flag for revenue is NOT checked). The customer believes the proper revenue would be 13,555,195.26 but system generates it as 14,628,953.97.
