On : 12.1.3.31.8 version, Rules

When attempting to Edit a statement rule in Configurator Developer, the following error occurs. Investigating the rule indicates that the statement exceeded the expected maximum of 32,000 characters, which causes it to be stored in a HUGECLOB internally.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Oracle Configurator Developer responsibility

2. Navigate to the impacted model

3. Edit the model, navigate to the rules tab

4. Edit the impacted rule

5. Error occurs
