Is the calculation for schedule at completion date in workplan task complete?

TaskDetailsPG, Schedule at Completion calculation does not consider Progress as of date. The user is questioning the logic of the calculation.
In the project Workplan Schedule at Completion is displaying correct date as per the formula given in the use guide but it is not correct logically

E.g.: Task start date is 01-Apr-16 and end date is 31-May-2016 with planned value of 12000 and progress as of 6-Jul-16 as 70% displaying schedule at
completion as 25-Jun-16 which is incorrect because progress of 70% is as of 6-Jun-16 and there is no chance of reaching 100% task progress by 25-Jun-16

This happens for all tasks when we cross the Schedule Finish Date. It is because Schedule at Completion calculation doesn't consider progress as of date.

Schedule at Completion should display correct date considering the progress as of date.
