AGIS Transactions Import Throws: EM29, LEZL0029: Only data for ledgers with a matching chart of accounts and calendar can be imported (Doc ID 2177602.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 16, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle General Ledger - Version 12.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
FUNGLTRR module: Transfer Intercompany Transactions To General Ledger
GLLEZL module: Journal Import

Symptoms

AGIS Responsibility is used to transfer all AGIS transactions at month-end. Ledgers details are not entered as parameters and 'Run Journal Import' option is selected to trigger this program automatically.
Data is transferred for multiple ledgers at the same time; observe all ledgers share the same chart of accounts but different calendar.

As the transfer is performed once for all ledgers, per standard functionality, all the lines passed to GL_INTERFACE are stamped with the same group_id which is, per design, the concurrent request id.

Journal Import is triggered in the process, however this fails as following, considering the same group_id is populated for data that belongs to two ledgers which do not share the same calendar therefore cannot be included in the same Data Access Set.

OUTPUT ERROR:

EM29 You do not have access to this ledger and account combination

LOGFILE ERROR:
