R12: PA: Draft Invoice Not Visible In Billing Invoice Review But Visible In AR. (Doc ID 2178199.1)

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Draft Invoice Not visible in Billing Invoice Review but visible in AR.

The AR invoice # 1144643 is exist in AR Module, but it can't be found in the billing Invoice Review, neither in PM. (Attached as 'Inv 1144643 in Billing VS. AR Module')
Running an sql query from ra_customer_trx_all we can find that this invoice has a draft invoice # 50. but in the same time there is AR invoice # 1152475 has the same draft invoice number of 50 under the same project. (Attached as AR Invoices)

However, checking back billing Invoice Review we only find the draft invoice # 50 related to AR invoice # 1152475, but nothing related to AR invoice #1144643. (Attached as 'Screenshot of billing invoice review' and 'Draft invoices table')


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
The AR invoice # 1144643 is exist in AR Module, but it can't be found in the billing Invoice Review, neither in PM. (Attached as 'Inv 1144643 in Billing VS. AR Module')
Running an sql query from ra_customer_trx_all we can find that this invoice has a draft invoice # 50. but in the same time there is AR invoice # 1152475 has the same draft invoice number of 50 under the same project. (Attached as AR Invoices)

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
a- Users are currently trying to clean-up our AR aging. There were a number of events due to an accounting error that needed to be applied towards each other.
b- It impacts the entire division works on that project.
d- Impact Date: 5 April 2016.
