Automation Rule Only Works For Currency Defined In Scoring Model (Doc ID 2182922.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 14, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Credit Management - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version,

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When defining a Scoring Model, there is a checkbox that reads "Allow use with all currencies". However, the Automation Rule uses the actual defined currency associated with the Scoring Model. There is no way to tell the Automation Rule to apply a different currency.

As a business case, if I have an instance that uses multiple currencies, in the current environment, I would have to create a separate Scoring Model and separate Automation Rule for EACH defined currency being used. That is a lot of work to set up and is not efficient. In addition, if a single Scoring Model allows for use with multiple currencies, then the Automation Rule should also do the same.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Therefore, if the Scoring Model allows its use for all currencies, the Automation Rule should act similarly.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Define scoring model for All use with all currencies.
2. Automation rule does not have functionality to apply to different currency.

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot have an automation rule for all currencies.
If I have an instance that uses multiple currencies, in the current environment, I would have to create a separate Scoring Model and separate Automation Rule for EACH defined currency being used.
