On : 12.2.3 version, Service Tax - P2P

India - Service Tax Report RCM tax on AP Invoices not reflecting Properly

While doing testing in UAT instance, AP Invoices having Service Tax (RCM) with Tax point basis as "Validation of Supplier Invoice" is not reflecting the Tax payable amount in the "Service Tax Payable" Column whereas AP Invoices having Service Tax (RCM) with Tax point basis as "Payment of Supplier Invoice" is reflecting the Tax payable amount in the "Service Tax Payable" Column.

Patch p23643635_R12.JAI.C_R12 was applied recently for fetching the RCM invoices in the India Service Tax Report

Service payable amount is showing as 0 for the tax point basis as "Validation of Supplier Invoice"



STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a Invoice with RCM tax with Tax point basis as "Validation of Supplier Invoice"
2. Run the report India - Service Tax Report

Due to this issue, users cannot see the tax payable amount
