Last updated on OCTOBER 20, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Payroll - Version 12.1 to 12.2 [Release 12.0 to 12.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When an assignment number that has an assignment status of Terminate and do not process is selected - the batch lines are successfully validated and transferred. However in the payroll run this assignment is not processed. The BEE form does not allow for the same assignment number to be selected. Assignment number should not be available for validation. This is resulting in users entering elements for assignments that won't be processed in the payroll.

Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1.  Set an assignment for an employee with the status of Terminate and do not process

  2.  Create a batch header and batch line via the BEE interface

  3.  Entered the assignment number and validated

       4.  Transfer the batch

       5.  Observe that the batch lines were successfully transferred
