Dunning Faxing Is Broken After Upgrade RightFax from Version 9 or below to Version 10.5 (Doc ID 2188965.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 03, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Advanced Collections - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Collections Administration

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
----------------------------
The IEX: Bulk Delivery Manager is no longer passing faxing requests which will actually Fax after upgrading RightFax server from Version 9 to 10.5.

You made changes to the xdodelivery.cfg file to point to the new server. However, RightFax version 10.5 won't process the Fax requests because it's
not being passed required parameters for the TOFAXNUM and the TONAME.

You can generate a Linux lp command (e.g., lp -d HPFAX -o "TONAME=BradleyDavis TOFAXNUM=19206837729" promote.txt) which will send
a fax request to RightFax, and your fax printer will print off the contents of promote.txt, so you know faxing itself works between Linux and
your RightFax server. The Oracle log is showing that the faxing request was successfully submitted. But when you look at our RightFax queue,
you can see that the request is Incomplete due to missing TOFAXNUM and TONAME parameters.

XDO Log shows error:
 http://HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
---------------------------
RightFax server version 10.5 faxes the Dunning letters
