Symptoms
On : 12.1.3 version, Customers Module
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
The field “D-U-N-S Number” in Receivables/Customers is by default at 9 characters and the business uses 11 characters for DUNS number.
Searching for more than 9 characters in the field does not return any of the 11-character existing DUNS.
WHAT IS WORKING
-----------------------
Reducing the string to 8 characters + a wildcard does give the required result.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Search should work with a longer number of characters also.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Responsibility: Receivables
2. Navigation: Customers > Customers
2. Try to search a customer based on DUNS number using 11 characters
3. Query returns: No result has been found
