Billing Schedules Not Created As Expected when Importing Contracts with Sublines Having a Shorter Duration than the Service Line (Doc ID 2190182.1)

Billing schedules are not being imported as expected when a subline has a start date later than service line.

Expect the schedule to be imported as indicated in the interface data.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Interface data being used has two records in OKS_COVERED_LEVELS_INTERFACE that are associated to one record in OKS_LINES_INTERFACE. One of the records in OKS_COVERED_LEVELS_INTERFACE has a start_date that is later than the other (one covered line has a shorter duration).
  2. Run Service Contracts Import to import the data in step 1.
  3. Open the contract that was created and navigate to Lines > Pricing / Products.
  4. Click the Billing button.
  5. The value in Total Amount will not be correct.
  6. If you click Cancel to close this form and click Billing to re-open the issue persists. If you click OK to close the form the issue is resolved as the data is corrected and is displayed as expected when re-opening the form.

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot create contracts with accurate billing schedule data.
