1095 XML Transmission - Zip Codes Over 5 Digits with no "dash" are Dropped (Doc ID 2192034.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 05, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Advanced Benefits - Version 12.1 HRMS RUP9 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

In the 1095 XML Transmittal process used to generate the records to send to the IRS, it drops records due to their zip code.

If someone enters a 9 digit zip code but fails to include the dash, the record is just dropped from the XML Transmittal process. It does not show in the log file that it was skipped and customer has to look for the count of records to make sure that all records are included.
