This note provides a brief overview of
Symptoms
The warehouse name length defined in Inventory, was higher than the length accepted in Receivables, due to this the error was showing.
This issue is only with the warehouses defined in Russian, because the special characters are using more Bytes than usual.
Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Receivables Responsibility:
Navigation- Transaction Form - Open invoice - Lines Items - Error showing:: FRM-40831: Truncation occurred: value too long for field WAREHOUSE_NAME.
Changes
The code changed the length of warehouse_name to 240 from 60 .
Now the length of warehouse_name in RA_CUSTOMER_TRX_LINES_V is 240.
