12.2 Cloning Command 'perl appsTier dualfs' Fails With RC-50013 And Command './runInstaller -silent -detachHome ORACLE_HOME' Fails With 'The command line arguments '-detachHome' are not valid options.' (Doc ID 2193867.1)

Performing adcfgclone on the appsTier fails for script using the following command:

perl appsTier dualfs

The following errors appear in the log:

WARNING: [AutoConfig Error Report]

The following report lists errors AutoConfig encountered during each phase of its execution. Errors are grouped by directory and phase.

The report format is:
  AutoConfig could not successfully execute the following scripts:
  Directory: /fs1/FMW_Home/webtier/perl/bin/perl -I /fs1/FMW_Home/webtier/perl/lib/5.10.0 -I /fs1/FMW_Home/webtier/perl/lib/site_perl/5.10.0 -I /fs1/EBSapps/appl/au/12.0.0/perl -I /fs1/FMW_Home/webtier/ohs/mod_perl/lib/site_perl/5.10.0/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /fs1/EBSapps/10.1.2/appsutil/clone INSTE8_APPLY 1

AutoConfig is exiting with status 1

ERROR: RC-50013: Fatal: Instantiate driver did not complete successfully.
ERROR: RC-50004: Fatal: Error occurred in ApplyAppsTechStack:
RC-50013: Fatal: Failed to instantiate driver /fs1/EBSapps/10.1.2/appsutil/driver/regclone.drv

The quick summary of the error is the 10.1.2 oracle home may already exist in inventory.xml file.

When using the below steps to detach the existing oracle home:

1. cd $ORACLE_HOME/oui/bin
2. ./runInstaller -silent -detachHome ORACLE_HOME

The following error is received:

'The command line arguments '-detachHome' are not valid options.'
