Second Transaction Line Does Not Decrement From Pending Product Lot Record (Doc ID 2194415.1)

Last updated on APRIL 08, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Process Manufacturing Process Execution - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On : 12.1.3 version, Batches

When transacting a product and there is a Pending Product Lot, only the first transaction line decrements from the pending lot record.

Enter a pending product lot record for the full planned qty
Go to Material Transactions for the product
The transaction line is fully defaulted, based on the lot from the Pending Product Lot record, and the subinventory and locator from the product line, and qty from planned qty and product lot qty.
Overtype the qty with a lower qty
Click on a second transaction line. Nothing defaults.
Enter the same lot. Customer is doing this because they are yielding this second line into a different subinventory, but the behavior is the same regardless of whether you enter the same subinventory as on the first line or not.
Only the qty from the first transaction line is decremented from the pending product lot record.
It appears that the second line, since nothing defaults, is not recognized as being related to the pending lot record

Customer expects that both transaction lines, since they are for the same lot as on the pending product lot record, will decrement from the pending lot record qty
