E-Business Suite Business Intelligence Publisher, Enterprise Admin Datasource issues

BI Publisher reports fail due to datasource related errors.

The following errors are reported by users running reports:

“Pool is suspended cannot allocate resources to applications”

The issue appears load related (eg. occurs during peak user load), and the data source connection must be manually resumed when the problem occurs.

Further investigation shows low heap settings of Xms256m Xmx1024m for the memory.
