Intermittent Error In Universal Work Queue

When trying to view accounts in UWQ,
the following error occurs intermittently.

IEU_WORK_ACTIONS.VALIDATE_DISP_ITEMS report error. A required parameter(s) may be null; 1. * Assignee

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.Review accounts in UWQ
2. Error message pops up but user can click ok with no further issue.
