Unable to Update Certain Agreements Due to Error 'Please Enter a Valid Email Address'

Using Buyer Work Center, while attempting to update certain Agreements, the following error occurs:

"Please enter a valid email address"

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Using a Purchasing responsibility, navigate to Buyer Work Center
2. Go on Agreements tab and search for the concerned agreement
3. Go on update mode and try to save some modifications-> error occurs
