Default Salesperson For Renewal Not Being Applied To A Contract

Information in this document applies to any platform.
Renewing a Service Contract and retains the salesperson from the original contract. Expected that the Salesperson on the Renewed Contract would be the value from the profile "OKS: Default Sales Person for Renewal".
You might also see the following error in the log file.
Program Error: Contract - XXXX could not be renewed. Contact your support representative.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Service Contracts Manager > Launch Contracts > Select Contract > Renew
1. Set the renewal for 1 Year.
2. Execute the renewal.
3a. Contract is renewed but retains the original Salesperson.
3b. You get the error OKS_RENEW_UNEXPECTED_ERROR.
