Symptoms

On 12.1+ Production with PER and PAY fully installed with US legislation installed for PER and PAY.

When rehiring the employee 'prior to the Final Process Date' Primary Terminate Assignment record is not end dating and creating a new non-Primary Terminate Assignment record which leaves two primary assignment records open during the same time period.

Customer is having this issue using both Assignment form and when using api

• peempapi.pkb version 120.8.12010000.11
• PERWSHRG.fmb version 120.37.12010000.33

STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. HR responsibility

2. People >

Enter and Maintain >
People screen >
Others button >
select End Employment >
Terminate screen >
Terminate employee >

Rehire employee prior to Final Process Date.
Find two Active Primary Assignment records at the same point in time.
