Item Import Program Not Capturing The Error And Exception In Logs Or MTL_INTERFACE_ERRORS Table

Item import (INCOIN) runs successfully but does not capture exceptions in the log and there are no errors seen in the MTL_INTERFACE_ERRORS MIE table. Errors are not reflect in the front end either.

The item import program should error out with the below error message as seen in the front end.
"Inventory Item is set to No OR BOM Item Type is NOT set to Standard"

1 Create non inventory item in master form
2 Insert into interface with build_in_wip_flag = Y
3 Launch Import Items
4 No error in log, and no update for the item
